Role Descriptions

Charity Street Donation Collector - we are looking for people who are not afraid to brave the elements for a few hours and collect donations from passers-by in busy town and city centres. All volunteers need to be over the age of 16 and will be provided with the relevant fundraising materials. (Training will be provided)

Supermarket Bag Packers - volunteers are needed to help boost our fundraising at supermarkets. Are you happy to pack shoppers bags in return for a donation? Previous bag packing exercises have raised £3,500!! Volunteers over 13 years of age are permitted.

Administration Volunteer - are you able to pop into our fundraising office and help with day to day administration chores? Tasks include internet research, data inputting and mail shots. (Training will be provided)

Publicity Distributor - do you know the perfect place in your community to display posters? At The Joshua Tree we are looking for people to help promote our events.

Student Volunteers - are you in College or University and would like to boost your CV? We have lots of opportunities at The Joshua Tree to help you achieve just that from creating eye catching window displays to holding your own fundraising event on campus.

Support Group Volunteer - we are looking for a group of people to manage their own Joshua Tree Fundraising Group. Would you and a group of friends like to hold regular fundraising events for the charity such as coffee mornings or even a fashion show? We will help you establish your group and give you all the support you need. (Training will be provided)

Virtual Volunteer - if you would like to help The Joshua Tree but are unable to come into our Northwich office, we've got lots of roles which can be done from the comfort of your own home. Get in touch for further details.
