Our aim is to develop a holiday house and support centre in Cheshire, where children with a life threatening illness can come with their families for a FREE short break.

Building design
Since the unveiling of our draft plans at the Fun Run in April 2010, we have had a re-design.. The plans have now been finalised and submitted to planning. We hope to have a positive outcome by the end of March 2011. The plans reflect the Charity’s aim to provide an exciting and stimulating environment for an “unforgettable holiday” full of good, family memories, in a House that is as eco-friendly and sustainable as we can afford

The plans show a single storey building, housing 4 en-suite family units, together with communal play, cooking and leisure areas, as well as The Joshua Tree office and the Support Centre. The Holiday House will also have outside play areas and equipment for the children to enjoy, and is well placed for enjoying the rural pleasures of the Vale Royal Area.

With the planning for the House moving on, it is now even more important that we raise enough money for the build to commence as soon as possible.

We have raised over £300,000, have more pledged, but still need at least another £500,000 to proceed. We need your help.

Our advisors are helping us compile a “wish list”, for items and services that would help create the House, which we will be publishing as soon as we can - everything from toys to trampolines, drinks to fridge-freezers, plants to mowers etc.

If you would like to help, as an individual, a group or a business, please call The Joshua Tree office in the Weaver Square Shopping Centre, Northwich on 01606 331858 or Lynda Hill on 01606 781777 for a chat.
